It can be hard to keep track of design decisions, especially in new or growing teams. Why something has changed might not be clear to everyone and could be lost if there’s a change in team members.
When we’re designing a service, there’s lots we need to understand and we have lots of questions. We don’t always find answers to these questions quickly.
Invisible design doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist; it means the product is so well designed, users don’t notice the design when they use it.
The benefits system is confusing. There’s a lot of information out there so it can be hard for people to know where to start. Add to that the stressful situations people are often in when they need to claim benefits and it creates a perfect storm.
